The general objectives of Islamic Law are those that aim at realizing the general human welfare, both in this world and in the Hereafter. The specific objectives of Islamic Law are those that Islamic Law seeks to realize in a narrower domain of human activity, such as economics, family life, or the political order. This is achieved through specific legislation aimed at dealing with particular issues.
